We’re excited to announce that our clinic is now offering the Empower™ Hereditary cancer testing service. This screening service is designed for individuals who want to know more about their risk of developing cancer, why it might be common in their family or want informed treatment options after a cancer diagnosis.
Empower screens for genes associated with increased risk for common hereditary cancers, and includes commonly screened-for genes associated with over 12 types of cancer. This multi-cancer panel test is intended to be accessible to everyone and aims to help individuals gain more knowledge about their hereditary risks for developing certain types of cancer.
